Deploying WordPress & Databases
How to deploy, configure, and scale CMS and database instances.
Rubuz makes deploying high-traffic applications straightforward. Every application is configured in an isolated user namespace container.
WordPress Deployment Features
When you deploy a WordPress stack, Rubuz sets up:
- OpenLiteSpeed Web Server: Pre-configured with
.htaccesscompatibility, native rewrite rules, and HTTP/3 support. - LSCache Integration: Pre-installs and tunes the LiteSpeed Cache WordPress plugin for automated page caching, CSS/JS minification, and image optimization.
- Dedicated MariaDB / MySQL: Uses persistent named volumes with custom buffer pool sizing based on available server RAM.
- OPcache & PHP 8.3: Optimized opcode cache memory limits and process recycling.
Deploying Databases
You can deploy standalone database instances or shared multi-tenant instances:
- Go to your server in Rubuz.
- Under Databases, click Create Database.
- Choose MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
- Rubuz generates random high-entropy passwords and manages connection pooling automatically.
Health Monitoring & Restarts
Every stack comes with automatic health checks. If an application encounters an out-of-memory exception or hangs, Rubuz restarts the container within 3 seconds and alerts your configured webhook or email.
