Quickstart Guide

Launch your first high-speed server stack in less than 5 minutes.

This step-by-step tutorial walks you through setting up a clean cloud server, connecting it to Rubuz, and launching your first WordPress or containerized stack.

Step 1: Provision a Clean VPS

Provision a fresh VPS running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Debian 12 from any provider:

  • Hetzner Cloud (e.g. CPX11 or CAX11 ARM64)
  • DigitalOcean (e.g. Regular or Premium Droplet)
  • Vultr (High Frequency Compute)
  • AWS Lightsail or EC2

Ensure you have the public IPv4 address and root SSH credentials or an SSH key.

Step 2: Connect Server in Rubuz Dashboard

  1. Sign in to your Rubuz Cloud Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Servers → click Connect Server.
  3. Choose your server operating system and enter your VPS IP address.
  4. Rubuz will prompt you to run a single setup command or automatically connect using your temporary SSH credential.

Within 45 seconds, the Rubuz rootless container supervisor is configured, and your server status turns green.

Step 3: Launch an Application Stack

  1. Click on your newly connected server.
  2. Select App Store / Stacks.
  3. Click on WordPress (OpenLiteSpeed).
  4. Enter your site name, domain (or use a free rubuz.site preview subdomain), and admin email.
  5. Click Deploy Stack.

Rubuz automatically allocates memory, configures database users, provisions SSL certificates, and configures OpenLiteSpeed caching.
